Rewrite the second sentence:
At the core of the issue is the conundrum of whether a cell phone tower is really needed there. It is obvious the church accepted it for the financial gain because  the neighbors  are not welcoming it, it is unsightly,  and it is intrusive.
Parallel Structure Exercise
Revise each of the following sentences for parallel structure.
  • The best music is loud, fun, and easy to dance.
  • Tomorrow afternoon I will shop for groceries, eat lunch with my brother, and run all sorts of errands.
  • That book we read for class was really long, wordy, and non-sensical.

·         1.  Jennifer is smart, beautiful, and loving.
·         2.  Andy’s day is so long that he gets up at 6:00 a.m., leaves for work at 6:30 a.m., eats dinner at 11:00 p.m., and goes to bed at 2:00 a.m.
     3. If you go to the store, please remember: pick up your prescription,  buy some shampoo, and look for a notebook.
·         4. I spent two hours with Ms. Smith, reviewing my job performance, evaluating my goals, and discussing my future with the company.
·         5. Mr. Brown’s lecture was inaccurate, boring, and unecessary.
·         6. Most people play golf for pleasure, for exercise, and for companionship.
·         7. The most dangerous forms of transportation are bicycles, cars, and  motorcycles.
